TITAN CLASH STRONGMAN 2-person team competition

Titan Clash is a 2-person (MM/FF/MF) Strongman Team Competition for athletes of all skill levels across 4 divisions.

Our novice division is designed for the new competitor in mind, to get your feet wet and test your abilities in a stress-free manner. This event makes for a great first competition for those new to Strongman. For the veteran Strongman competitor, this event will test your strength in a FUN and challenging way!

Entry fee covers: Team entry fee for 2 persons, 5 workouts, with 8 separate scored events, (2) exclusive athlete event shirts*, team name plate*, sponsor goodies at check-in, access to a huge vendor village, and an opportunity to prove your fitness in front of family, friends, and the largest crowds in Southern California with ultimate prize packs for podium winners!

TO REGISTER:

One person registers and pays for the team (team captain). Have team members’ names, emails, shirt sizes, birthdates, etc. available when registering. Register your team 21 days prior to the event in order to guarentee your exclusive shirt/tank and team name plate. Teams registered teams who miss the deadline, will not receive apparel nor team name plate.

Don’t know which division to sign up for? No problem. Written requests to info@warrioraffilaiteleague.com, must be received 20 days prior to event for changes to division/team name.

REFUND POLICY:

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS TO FUTURE EVENTS. NO EXCEPTIONS. There will be no shirt size/type changes after final order date. Athlete substitution up until the day of event by having your substitute athlete sign your team waiver on event day prior to the first workout.

5 Divisions

MEN’S ADVANCED (MM) – This division is designed for those heavy-weight athletes, as well as those who want to be challenged with a heavier weightload.

MEN’S NOVICE (MM) – This division is designed for those athletes looking to dabble into the strongman competition, and for those who weigh under 190lbs in body weight.

WOMEN’S INTERMEDIATE (FF) – This is an all female team. This division is an intro to strongman events for women. Weightloads will be moderately heavy as compared to a true Strongman loads for women.

MIXED PAIRS HYBRID (MF) – Co-ed team consisting of 1 male & 1 female. Men will be required to perform weightloads lighter than Men’s Advanced, but heavier than Men’s Novice division.Women will be required to lift same weightloads as in the Women’s division. Please note there will be only 1 division for all women’s and mixed pairs division.

FRIENDLY/FUN – Teams of 2 persons, consisting of any gender and/or age combination. We encourage you to team up with your son/daughter, brother/sister, or BFF. Teams in this division may choose weightload to their ability. This division is a great to experience a competitive event in a FUN and stress-free manner. No prizes are awarded in this division.

Workouts

Event 1: Guns & Roses

1 Rep Max Axle Bar Clean and Press

Workout Description:
Team will have a 6 minute running clock to find their 1 RM C+P. Only one athlete may work at one time. Teammates may assist in loading the axle bar. Movement standard: Continental and standard clean will be accepted. Athletes must lock out at the top with extension at the shoulder and elbow, with bar overhead for repetitive to count.

Score will be the sum of heaviest successful lifts by both A1+A2.

Time cap: 6 minutes

Event 2: FUN Zone

Load carry (4) odd objects** 100FT for time

    • M ADV: 220/180 LBS
    • M NOVICE: 120/100 LBS
    • MIXED PAIRS: 120/90 LBS
    • W INT: 90/60 LBS
  • Object 3 – GreyFit Sand Boulder
    • M ADV: 200 lbs
    • M NOVICE: 150 lbs
    • MIXED PAIRS: 80 lbs
    • W INT: 70 lbs
  • Object 4 – Double Farmer Carry Bars (weight load per bar)
    • M ADV: 205 lbs
    • M NOVICE: 165 lbs
    • MIXED PAIRS: 145 lbs
    • W INT: 105 lbs

Workout Description:
On 3-2-1..Go!! Team will enter GRID and perform 50-FT load carry for all (4) odd objects to a designated spot, then will carry all (4) odd objects 50-FT to its original starting spot, then time will run to the finish line. Time will stop once the final team member crosses the finish line.

Score is the fastest time to move all (4) odd objects as described above.

Event 3: Junk in the Trunk

Perform as many repetitions as possible of Car Deadlift** in 2 minutes

**weight loads per division to be announced on the day of the event.

Workout Description:
On 3-2-1..Go!! A1 will begin to perform as many car DLs as possible, while A2 waits at the start line. Only one athlete may work at one time. Athletes may switch at any time.

Score is the max successful lifts accumulated as a team.

Time cap: 2 minutes

Event 4: Sunnyside Up

Perform max distance Yoke Carry for 2 minutes

Starting weight loads:

  • M ADV 400# (Yoke + 220#), teams will add 100 lbs every 70-FT
  • M Novice 280# (Yoke + 100#), teams will add 60 lbs every 70-FT
  • Mixed Pairs 220# (Yoke + 40#), team will add 60# lbs every 70-FT
  • W INT 180# (Empty Yoke), teams will add 40 lbs every 70-FT

Workout Descriptions:
On 3-2-1….Go!! A1 will enter GRID and perform PRE-LOADED Yoke carry for distance. Only ONE athlete may work at one time. Athletes may switch at any time. Teams will add weight (4 ADDITIONAL PLATES) to their Yoke every 70-FT.

Score is distance Yoke is carried by team in time allotted.

Time cap: 2 minutes.

Event 5 & 6: Rusted Mater

Event 5 – 80-FT truck pull for time (Athlete 1)
– 1 minute transition –
Event 6 – 80-FT truck drag rope pull for time (Athlete 2)

Workout Description:
On 3-2-1…Go! A1 will enter GRID to perform 80-FT truck drag with chest harness for time, while A2 waits at the start line. A1 must complete truck drag 80-FT. Once A1 crosses the designated marker, time will be noted. Then immediately, (1) minute transition period will begin. After the (1) minute transition period has elapsed, A2 will then proceed to perform truck rope pull of 80-FT for time. Once A2 crosses the designated marker, time will be taken.

This event has (2) separate scores:
E5 – the fastest time to complete 80-FT the truck drag (Athlete 1)
E6 – fastest time to complete 80-FT truck rope pull (Athlete 2)

Time cap: 3 minutes.

Event 7 & 8: THE CONJURING

Perform double dumbbell CRUCIFIX** static hold for time
Event 7 – Extended Hold
Event 8 – Shortest Hold

DB – ADV M 20# / NOVICE M 15#, MIXED M 15#/ F 10#, W INT 8#

Workout Description:
Each athlete will perform a double dumbbell crucifix static hold for time. Athletes will hold a dumbbell in each hand and statically hold dumbbells laterally at shoulder height for time.

This event has (2) separate scores:
E7: Athlete with Longest Hold Time
E8: Athlete with Shortest Hold Time
