Warrior Affiliate League in Association with Pharmacy presents:
“Gruesome Twosome” Duo 2-person team competition
Gruesome Twosome is a 2-person (MM/FF/MF) functional fitness team competition for athletes of all skill levels across 5 divisions.
Come out and play in the California sun!! This is an outdoor event. This event makes for a great first competition for those new to CF/Functional Fitness Competitions. For the veteran CFer, this event will test your skills in a FUN and challenging way!
Grab a friend and build your Super Team Duo. Register early, we anticipate this event to sell out!!

TO REGISTER:
One person registers and pays for the team (team captain). Have team members’ names, emails, shirt sizes, birthdates, etc. available when registering. Register your team 3-weeks prior to event to guarantee exclusive shirt/tank and team name plate. Teams registered teams who register after deadline, will not receive apparel nor team name plate.
Don’t know which division to sign up for? No problem. Written requests to info@warrioraffilaiteleagie.com, must be received 21 days prior to event for changes to division/team name.
REFUND POLICY:
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS TO FUTURE EVENTS. NO EXCEPTIONS. There will be no shirt size/type changes after final order date. Athlete substitution up until the day of event by having your substitute athlete sign your team waiver on event day.

Mixed Pairs Hybrid Division: Hybrid Division is a combined Advanced/Intermediate level. At least 1 athlete on your team must be able to perform the following gymnastics movements: Bar Muscle ups, C2B Pull ups, Toes to Bar, Double-Unders, Handstand Push Ups. Hybrid athletes must be able to lift, but not limited to, Snatch 135/95, C+J 185/135, Deadlift 315/225, Thruster 135/95

WORKOUT 2 DESCRIPTION: On 3-2-1..Go! In each round, athletes will perform box jump overs then complete as many barbell movements [Rd1 – Jerks (shoulder-to-overheads), Rd2 – Front Squats, Rd3 – Power Cleans] as possible in the time remaining. Only one athlete may work at a time. Athletes may switch at any point during the workout.
Scoring:
Event 3 – Total reps of Jerks
Event 4 – Total reps of Front Squats
Event 5 – Total reps of Power Cleans
Time: 12 Minute Running Clock
WORKOUT 3: Are We There Yet?
5-minute AMRAP of:
Event 6 – MAX Calorie Ski Erg (Athlete 1)
Event 7 – MAX Sled Push (Athlete 2)
Workout Description:
A1 will start on the Ski Erg, while A2 begins with the sled push. On 3-2-1… Go! Both athletes will begin at the same time. Athletes may switch at any time during the workout.
Sled weight load per division to be announced 1-week before event.
