What is Delta Force?

Delta Force is a 3-person, same gender (MMM or FFF), functional fitness team competition for athletes of all skill levels.

If you are new to CF, this is a great first comp. Our FUN division loads are do-able for those who have been ting for less than 6 months. If you are a veteran CF’er, our ADV and INT divisions will challenge you while still having FUN at the same time! Don’t miss your chance to compete in this Epic team event!

Entry fee covers: Team entry fee for 3 persons, (3) Event T-shirts, (1) Team Name Plate, 5+ scored workouts, and lots of FUN with the fitness community.

One person registers and pays for the team (team captain). Have team members’ names, emails, shirt sizes, birthdates, etc. available when registering.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS TO FUTURE EVENTS. NO EXCEPTIONS. Athlete substitution accepted up until event day, by having your new athlete sign your team waiver prior to start of event.

*One athlete works at one time (A1), One athlete hangs from the pull up bar (A2), one athlete rests (A3) for both Event 1 & 2.

Workout Description:

(E1) On the call of 3-2-1..Go! A1 will begin on the Ski Erg, A2 hangs from the pull-up bar, while A3 rests. Athletes may switch at any time. Once designated Calorie is reached, time will be taken.

(E2) Then immediately, the team will perform 20 Box Jumps, then 30 Power Cleans, then 20 Box Jumps, then 30 S2OH, then 20 Box Jumps. Athletes may switch at any time. A2 must remain hanging on the pull up bar, while A1 works, and A3 rests, for the repetition to count. Once the final box jump is performed, the team will run toward the finish line. Time will be recorded once the last athlete of the team crosses the finish line.

9 Minutes to establish a 3 Rep Max (From the Ground)

Event 3: Athlete A – 3 Rep Max Shoulder to Overhead

Event 4: Athlete B – 3 Rep Max Clean

Event 5: Athlete C – 3 Rep Max HANG CLEAN

*Score is heaviest successful lift
*Clean/Hang Clean can be power or squat
*Athletes can go in any order. One athlete must be designated to each lift.

**For the hang clean, the bar starts at the top of a deadlift and then BARBELL MAY NOT go below the knees or touch the ground until all 3 reps have been completed successfully.

Workout Description:

On 3-2-1..Go! A1 will perform the lift of choice. Athletes may go in any order. Each athlete must perform a specific lift as listed and cannot repeat movement of another teammate. A2 will follow A1, then A3 will follow after A2. All lifts must start from the floor. Cleans (clean/hang) may be a Power or Squat.

Scoring: There are 3 separate scores for Test 2. the Load of heaviest 3-REP successful lift each movement

Perform as many repetitions as possible in 6 minutes:

[(A1) – HSPU/Wall Walks. (A2) – Sandbag Hold]**

**Athletes may switch at any time during the workout.

*Partner that isn’t performing handstand push ups/wall walk must Bear Hug Hold a Sandbag. If the athlete drops the sandbag, HSPU/Wall Walk rep will not count.

Sandbag: Adv: 150/100#, Int. & Fun: 100/70#

Workout Description:

On 3-2-1..Go! A1 will perform Calories on the Bike, while A2 holds sandbag, and A3 performs Handstand push-ups (FUN-Wall Walks). For HSPU/WALL WALK repetition to count, Sandbag must be held by teammate and remain off the floor. If the sandbag hits the floor, HSPU/WALL WALK repetition does not count. INTERMEDIATE DIVISIONS may perform HSPU or Wall Walk. All scores will be converted into HSPU value (1 Wall Walk = 2 HSPU). Athletes may switch at any time. This will continue until the time cap is reached.

Scoring: TEST 3 has two separate scores

(E7) Total HSPU.

Time cap: 6 minutes.
