Terrible Two 2019

WHAT?

Terrible Two is a 2-person, same gender, M/M or F/F, or Mixed pairs functional fitness/ CF team competition for athletes of all skill levels.

Whether your are new to CrossFit, this makes a great first comp event. Check out out INT/FUN division loads and movements for details. For the veteran CrossFitter, this event is for YOU! We will challenge you, while having FUN!    Grab a friend and build your Super Team Duo. Register early, this event will sell out fast.

Entry fee covers: Team entry fee for 2 persons, 4+ separate scored events, (2) exclusive athlete event shirts, team name plate, sponsor goodies at check-in, access to a huge vendor village, and an opportunity to prove your fitness in front of family, friends, and the largest crowds in Southern California with ultimate prize packs for podium teams!

Events 1 & 2 – “2 Can Play that Game”

11 minute cap

(Murrieta location)

Event 1- For time: 50 WB shots

Then with remaining time
Event 2- For time:

40 Toes to Bar (FUN – knee ups)
30 hang cleans
20 front squats
Handstand walk 40-feet (INT/FUN 70ft wheelbarrow walk)

(Victorville location)

Event 1- For time: 50 WB shots

Then with remaining time
Event 2- For time:

30 Handstand Push Ups (INT/mixed/FUN 10 Wall Walks)

Wall Ball – Rx 30/20, INT 20/14, Mixed 20#, FUN 10#. Men 10-foot target, Women/MIxed/FUN 9-foot target
Barbell – Rx 155/105, INT 135/75, FUN 65. Mixed Pairs 115#
WOD description: On 3-2-1… GO! Team will perform 50 WB shots Jack and Jill style for time. Then with remaining time, team will share rep scheme of chipper as described above. Movements must be performed in ordered. All repetitions must be perform before moving onto the next movement. This is a 2-part workout and will be scored separately, with event 1 scored as fastest time to complete 50 WBS, an event 2 scored as fastest time to complete chipper.
**Please note: Murrieta location will perform Handstand walks or wheelbarrow walks, while Victorville location will perform Handstand push ups or wall walks.

 

Events 3 & 4 – “Would You Rather”

Perform as many repetitions as possible in 6 minutes:

Event 3 – CAL Bike (A1)
Event 4 – Sled push (A2)
WOD description: On 3-2-1… Go! A1 will start on the Bike and perform a 3 minute AMRAP for calories. At the same time, A2 will push sled for max effort for 3 minutes. On the 3 minute mark, both athletes will switch activities and continues to perform AMRAP for an additional 3 minutes. This workout has 2 parts and will be scored separately.

 

Event 5 – “Cruise Control”

**Mixed Pairs – same as Women’s Rx division 

WOD description: On 3-2-1… Go! Team will perform 10 deadlifts then 8 bar facing burpees. Athletes may switch at anytime. Then, athletes will move barbell to next station and add weights to appropriate load and perform 8 deadlifts and 8 bar facing burpees. This will continue 6 DL followed by 8 bar facing burpees, 4 DL then 8 BFB, then 2 deadlifts. Once team completed final 2 reps of deadlifts, team will run to the finish line and time will stop. Score is the fastest time to compete task.
