Delta Force 2019


Delta Force is a 3-person, same gender (MMM or FFF), functional fitness team competition for athletes of all skill levels.

If you are new to CF, this is a great first comp. Our FUN division loads are do-able for those who have been CrossFitting for less than 6 months.  If you are a veteran CrossFitter, our ADV and INT divisions will challenge you while still having FUN at the same time!  Don’t miss your chance to compete in this Epic team event!  Grab 2 friends and build your power team. Event 1 / Event 2: “Drunken Sailor”
(8 minute time cap)

Event 1. MAX Calories Bike in 8 minutes
Event 2. As Many Rounds As Possible in 8 minutes

7 dBall Cleans (floor to shoulder)
50FT dBall Bear Hug Carry

Workout Description:
Event 1 and Event 2 will be performed simultaneously.
On 3-2-1..Go! Athlete 1 will begin performing Calories on Assualt Bike, while Athlete 2 performs Chipper above and Athlete 3 will standby at start line. A2 will pick up heavy dBall and perform 25-feet dBall bear hug carry, once athlete gets to designated grid, A2 will then perform 10 dBall front squats. Dball must be held in the front position, and hip crease must pass below knee crease for repetition to count. After the completion of 10 dball front squats, A2 will perform dBall bear hug carry 25-feet to designated grid, and perform 7 dBall Cleans, with dBall must starting from floor and finishing on shoulder, with hip+knee extension at the top. A2 must show control of dBall on shoulder at the top for repetition to count. Once 7 dBall cleans are completed, athlete will perform 50-feet dBall bear hug carry back to start where A3 awaits, then tags in A3 who will then perform complex. This will repeat for each round. Athlete must complete full round before tagging in teammate. Athletes may switch at the Assualt bike at any time throughout workout.
Workout will have 2 separate scored events:
Event 1: Sum of team max Calorie Bike, and Event 2: Max repetitions accumulated as team.
Time cap: 8 minutes.

Event 3: “Zero Dark Eleven”
(for time – 12 min cap)

60 Partner Deadlift (A1/A2),
50 Wall Ball Shots (A1) w/partner Deadlift holds (A2/A3)
40 HSPU w/partner Deadlift holds (A2/A3)
30 T2B w/partner Deadlift holds (A2/A3)
12 bar muscle ups (A1) w/partner DL holds (A2/A3)

Deadlift Loads: Rx 315/225, INT 255/155, FUN 155/135
Wall Ball Loads: Rx 30/20, INT 20/14, FUN 14/10

HSPU Scaling: INT wall walks (16), FUN HR push ups (40)
T2B Scaling: FUN hanging knee ups
Bar Muscle Up Scaling: INT burpee pull ups (18), FUN burpees (18)

Workout Description:
On 3-2-1…Go! A1 and A2 will enter grid and perform partner deadlifts. A3 will standby at start line. After 60 partner deadlifts are completed, A3 will enter grid and perform partner deadlift (DL) hold with A2, while A1 will perform chipper as described above. Partner DL hold must be maintained while A1 perform movements of chipper for repetition to count. Athletes may switch at any point during workout.
Movement substitutions:
Handstand push ups: INT division may choose to perform one of the following movements, but not in combination: 16 wall walks or 40 HSPU. FUN: 40 hand release push ups.
Toes to bar: RX/INT divisions will perform T2B with no substitution for movement. FUN: hanging knee ups.
Bar Muscle Ups: INT division may choose to perform 12 Bar Muscle Ups or 18 burpee pull ups. FUN: 18 burpees.
Score will be fastest time to complete chipper as a team.
Time cap: 12 minutes

Event 4: “Stealth Attack”

6 minute AMRAP
Athlete must complete full round prior to switching:
Shuttle Sprints 5-10-15-20 yds
40-yd Sled Push (sled weight loads TBA)

Workout Description:
On 3-2-1…Go! A1 will perform shuttle runs of 5yd and back, then 10yd and back, then 15yd and back, then 20 yds then push sled. Once A1 completes 40-yard push sled, A1 will then run toward start line where A2 awaits and tag A2 into grid. This pattern will repeat with each athlete. Athlete MUST COMPLETE FULL ROUND before tagging out.
Score is as many rounds performed by team.
Time cap: 6 minutes.

Event 5: Snatch Ladder

M: 75, 95, 115, 135, 155, 175, 200, 225, 235, 245
F: 55, 65, 75, 85, 95, 105, 115, 125, 145, 155

Workout Description:
On 3-2-1…Go! With every minute on the minute, entire team will approach pre-loaded station and perform 1 snatch each within 1-minute total. Athlete may make as many attempts possible within 1 minute cap. Athletes who complete a successful lift will move forward to next pre-loaded barbell. Each athlete must attempt a lift at each station, with each successful lift as buy-in to perform lift for next station. Weight loads listed are for all divisions.
Score is the sum of max lift by each athlete for team total.
