Delta Force 2016

WHAT?

Delta Force is a 3-person, same gender (MMM or FFF), functional fitness team competition for athletes of all skill levels. The competition is at and hosted by CrossFit Crown City, Pasadena CA 91105.

Whether your are new to CF, or a veteran crossfitter, this event is for YOU!  Don’t miss your chance to compete in this Epic team event!  Grab 2 friends and build your power team. Register early, this event will sell out fast.

TO REGISTER:

One person registers and pays for the team (team captain).

Have team members’ names, emails, shirt sizes, birthdates, etc. available when registering.

Changes can be made online any time prior to October 31, 2016.

Event Workouts!

Event 1: “Nordic Randy, Part l ” (8 min cap)

For time: 75 snatches, EMOM 3 over barbell burpees

Rx/ADV 115#/75#, INT 95#/65#,  FUN 45#

Event description:
Team will share and complete 75 snatches for time.  Every minute on the minute one athlete will perform 3 burpees over the barbell, then continue to perform snatches until 75 repetitions are completed.


Event 2: “Nordic Randy, Part II“ (8 minute)

Max Calorie Ski Erg

Event Description: Event 2 will be performed simultaneously during EVENT 1. Work may be shared by team, with one athlete working at a time.


Triple Double – 10 minute running clock

EVENT 3 “Triple Double – Thrusters“ – (2 Athlete only)  –

3 minute Max thrusters, Rx/ADV 115#/75#,  INT 95#/65#,  FUN 45#

– 1 minute transition –

EVENT 4: “Triple Double – WallBall GHD sit-ups” – (2 Athletes only)

3 minute Max Wall Ball GHD sit-ups

Rx 30#/20#, INT 20#/14#, FUN 10#

EVENT 5:  Triple Double – “The Ups“  –  (All 3 athletes)

3 minute Max Bar Muscle ups

ADV Bar Muscle Ups, INT Pull Ups, FUN Jumping Pull Ups

Event Description:

E3-E4 : Only 2 athletes may perform at each station, with 3rd athlete waiting at start pad. This rotation will occur with Thrusters and WB GHD Sit ups movement.

E5: All 3 athletes may perform Bar MUs/Pull Ups. Only one athlete may work at one-time. Each movement will be scored separately. Teams will be placed in a lottery in which movement they will begin (thrusters or WB GHD sit ups). All teams will finish at the pull up bar for MUs or pull ups depending on division.
