WHAT?

Delta Force is a 3-person, same gender (MMM or FFF), functional fitness team competition for athletes of all skill levels, and hosted by Mutiny CrossFit, Duarte CA

EVENTS 1 & 2 – “Adam Brown”

PART A: For Time: (10 min CAP)
36 Deadlifts
>> Rx 275/175, INT 225/145, FUN 125
36 Box Jumps
>> Rx 30”/24”, INT 24”/20”, FUN 20” Step ups
36 Wall Ball Shots (10 Feet Target)
>> Rx 30/20, INT 20/14, FUN 10

PART B: Max CAL Row (10 min AMRAP)

Workout Description: On 3-2-1..Go! A1 and A2 will advance to competition grid and begin chipper. Only one athlete work at a time. While at the same time A3 is on the rower accumulating max calories. All and any athlete may switch at anytime from Grid floor to rower and vise versa. Once chipper is competed, time will be recorded. If time still remains on the clock, all 3 athletes may perform Max CAL Row, switching at anytime, until 10 mins has expired. 2 separate scores will be generated from this workout, E1 score is time to complete chipper. Fastest time wins. And E2 score is max CAL Row generated by team.

EVENT 3 – “FRAN ON THE ROPES”

For time (6 min cap)
21 Thrusters

>> **INT – Rope Climbs or King Kongs, FUN – Rope Progressions (King Kongs)

Workout Description: On 3-2-1..Go! A1 will begin 21 thrusters. Athletes may switch at anytime. Once 21 thrusters is completed, athlete will advance to rope and perform 5 rope climbs. This pattern will continue with 15 thrusters, followed by 4 rope climbs, then 9 thrusters, followed by 3 rope climbs. Once 3 rope climbs of final round is completed, team will run as a group to finish line. Time will stop once final member of team crosses finish line.

EVENTS 4, 5, & 6 – “WAL TOTALS I”

(6 min cap) All lifts will be off the rack
E4 – Max 1-Rep Strict Shoulder Press (A1)
E5 – Max 3-Rep Front Squat (A2)
E6 – Max 2-Rep Back Squat (A3)

Each athlete will have 2 minute max to find their respective heavy lift.

Workout Description: On 3-2-1..Go! A1 will have 2 minutes to find their 1-Rep max effort Strict Shoulder Press. At minute 2: A2 will have 2 minutes to find their 3-Rep max effort Front Squat. At minute 4, A3 will have 2 minutes to find their 2-Rep max effort Back Squat. Any and all athletes may change weight on barbell. If athlete completes max effort lift before time cap, team may pre-load barbell for next athlete, but athlete may not start lift until his/her designated time. Each station will have a pair of each 2.5#, 5#, 10#, 15#, 25#, 35#, 45#, 55#, with 45# barbell for men, and 35# barbell for women.

 

EVENT 7 – “FIREBALL”

D-Ball Clean Speed Ladder (3 min cap)
40, 50, 60, 70, 80, (90), 100, (125), 150

Workout Description: On 3-2-1..Go! A1 will enter Grid and begin to pick up as many D-balls as possible in subsequent order as described above. Once A1 has gone through the ladder and can no longer pick up D-balls or completes ladder, A1 will run toward finish line. Once A1 crosses finish line, A2 will enter Grid and perform same task as A1. This cycle will repeat with A3, until all athletes have gone through ladder.

Score will be the sum of the heaviest ball lift by each athlete. Time cap: 3 minutes.
