Delta Force 2017


Delta Force is a 3-person, same gender (MMM or FFF), functional fitness team competition for athletes of all skill levels. At and hosted by CrossFit Crown City, Pasadena CA.
Whether your are new to CF, or a veteran CrossFitter, this event is for YOU!  Don’t miss your chance to compete in this Epic team event!  Grab 2 friends and build your power team. Register early, this event will sell out fast.

Event 1: Fran On Crack, Part I

2 rounds for time (9 minute cap)
DB thrusters – ADV 50#/35#, INT 35#/20#, FUN 20#/15#
Pull ups – ADV Chest to bar, INT chin over bar, FUN jumping chin over bar

Event 2: Fran On Crack, Part II

MAX Calorie Assault Bike (AMRAP 9)

Event Description: E1 and E2 will be performed simultaneously.  On 3-2-1… go… Athlete 3 will start on Assault Bike and begin E2, while Athlete 1 and Athlete 2 will share rep scheme of E1. One athlete may work at one-time. Athletes may exchange at anytime between E1 and E2 (Bike to Grid and vice versa).  Each event will be scored separately. Score for Event 1 is time to complete 2 rounds of Fran. Score for Event 2 is Max Calories Assault Bike.
Time cap: 9 minutes

EVENT 3  – Dirty DT, Part I

5 rounds for time
12 deadlift
9 hang cleans
6 shoulder-to-overhead
ADV 155#/105#, INT 135#/75#, FUN 95#/65#

EVENT 4 – Dirty DT, Part II

With remaining time, MAX heavy d-ball cleans
ADV 150/80, INT 100/70, FUN 70/50

Event Description: On 3-2-1… go, team will begin E3 and complete 5 rounds of DT as a team, sharing rep scheme. Only one athlete may work at a time, and may switch at anytime. Once E3 is completed, team will then immediately begin E4, by performing MAX repetitions of heavy d-ball cleans.  Each event will be scored separately. Score for Event 3 is time to complete 5 rounds of DT.  Score Event 4 is max repetitions heavy d-ball MB cleans.
Time cap: 8 minutes.


Heavy Med-Ball Squat Ladder
For time (4 min cap)
12 Heavy Med-Ball bear hug squats, (Athlete 1 only)
9 Heavy Med-Ball bear hug squats, (Athlete 2 only)
6 Heavy Med-Ball bear hug squats, (Athlete 3 only)

Men: ADV 80/100/150,  INT 70/80/100, FUN 60/70/80
Women: ADV 70/80/100, INT 60/70/80, FUN 40/50/60

Event Description: On 3-2-1… go, A1 will perform 12 heavy d-ball bear hug squats. Once completed, A1 will tag in A2, and sprints to finish pad. A2 performs 9 heavy d-ball bear hug squats. Once completed, A2 will sprint to start pad to tag in A3, and sprints to finish line. A3 will perform 6 heavy d-ball bear hug squats. Once completed, A3 will sprint to starting pad, then to finish line. Once A3 crosses finish line event is completed and time will stop. Score is time to complete task.
